The camphouse is about 11 miles north of Brenham on HWY 36 near the intersection of HWY 36 and FM 1948 across from the Shell Station. In the 1800's the area was known as Quarry Tx. until the post office closed for buisness.In the future we plan to hold events that will put Quarry back on the map.
